The 6th Harry Potter book has been released! The book came out Saturday, July 16, 2005. I received my copies in the mail about 1:00pm that day. I finished Half-Blood Prince around 2:30pm on the 17th. In the coming days, expect to read some commentary from me. I plan on doing some analysis of various scenes and posting some of my theories. Additionally, I'd like to talk about some things that I did and didn't like in the book. And, since I'm a fanfiction fanatic, I'll probably give some examples where I think other writers have done some aspects of Harry Potter better. Look for more from me on this subject over the next few weeks.

For my short review: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was good. I think it's the 2nd or 3rd best of the series thus far. I feel that it could have been better, but I'm mostly happy with what I read.
